Port of Insanity

By

Facelore

Dr. Nazool Tabassum

Not an easy feat

Leaving

The port of insanity

Anchors all around

Docking mercilessly

At the port of insanity

Rusty chains, stout ropes

The witness of my shackles

At the port of insanity

Anchors of my blood

Weighing further down

into the mud

At the port of insanity

Anchors of norms

Pricking soul like horns

At the port of insanity

Anchors of the divine being

Denying me, human being

At the port of insanity

Mind games on the deck

Causing slow wreck

At the port of insanity

On the verge of ship sap

Consciousness enlighten

By lighthouse of intuition

At the port of insanity

In the dark of unconscious

Lay the key anchor

The doubt

And

The fear

At the port of insanity

Undocking swiftly

Sailed off poorly

Into the waters

Of Assurance

And

Of bravery

Far off

The Port of Insanity

Facing

The shores of sanity
