NAWAZ IS DISQUALIFIED, BROTHER TO BE NEW PM

Pakistani Prime Minister, Nawaz sharif has been disqualified by the Pakistani Supreme Court. The SC held that Nawaz is dishonest as he failed to disclose that he was holding office in his son’s Dubai based company FZE. Article 62 & 63 of the Pakistan Constitution requires a public office holder to be honest and pious. Nawas has left the position and the cabinet has been dissolved.

The ruling Party has nominated younger brother of Nawaz, Mr shahbaz Shareef as new Prime Minister. Shahbaz is currently Chief Minister of the Punjab province and shall contest for the National Assembley first. In the meanwhile, Mr Shahid Khaqan Abbassi shall be the Interim Premier of the country.
